national awards to his name, Jamie Scott Lytle Photography handles corporate, commercial, documentaries, sports, portraits, Biotech and fashion and news assignments,
Jamie's work has been seen in Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated, Time, News Week, New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Stren, on television, and numerous publications domestically and internationally.
Jamie first honed his craft while studying fine arts and photography at the University of Arizona. While continuing his studies in art and photography as a graduate student at Arizona State University, Jamie was hired as a staff
photographer at the Blade Citizen Newspaper in San Diego County in
1990.
After heading west and settling in coastal north San Diego County,
where he continues to live today, Jamie survived a tumultuous era of
journalism while shooting for the North County Times, the California
and the UT San Diego. During his career, Jamie has been invited to be a
guest lecturer at major universities and to talk about his work on
television.
Branching out in 2012, he founded Jamie Scott Lytle Photography, based
in the greater San Diego area.
A versatile photographer who has shot news, professional sports, social
events, portraits, concerts and countless breaking news assignments,
Jamie has applied his skills as a photojournalist to his new venture,
bringing an artful eye as well as fast, professional service to the
role.
His journalism colleagues often describe Jamie as a true professional
with a knack for getting the shot that always captured the truth with
